Kevin Nee, CFA
President of Wilshire Private Markets
Mr. Nee is the President of Wilshire Private Markets and serves as chair of the Wilshire Private Markets Management
Committee. He is also responsible for sourcing, performing due diligence and monitoring investment opportunities across
private equity sectors within the U.S., as well as oversight of Wilshire Private Markets. He has been an investor in the
private markets for 16 years and has served on numerous partnership and company boards.
Prior to joining Wilshire Private Markets, Mr. Nee was with BlackRock, Inc., where he was a Managing Director and
member of the Management and Investment Committees for the BlackRock Private Equity Partners team. Prior to BlackRock's
acquisition of Quellos Group, LLC, he was a Principal of the latter, where he co-founded Quellos' private capital
division. Mr. Nee was also a member of that division's Investment Committee and Portfolio Management Group, and served on
the firm's Portfolio Management Group responsible for co-investment activities across alternative asset classes.
He began his private markets career in 1993 with INVESCO's private capital group, where he managed fund-of-funds
portfolios and participated in direct company investments.
A summa cum laude graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Mr. Nee received his
Master in Business Administration degree with honors from Columbia Business School. He is also a Chartered Financial
Analyst charterholder. Mr. Nee is a member of the Wilshire Associates Board of Directors and joined Wilshire in 2009.

Karl Beinkampen
Senior Managing Director/Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Beinkampen is the Chief Investment Officer of WPM and serves on WPM's Investment Committee.
He is also responsible for sourcing, performing due diligence and monitoring investment opportunities
across private equity sectors within the US, as well as oversight of WPM investment process.
He has been a participant in the private markets for 15 years and has served on numerous partnership
and company boards.
Prior to joining WPM, Mr. Beinkampen spent 15 years with Morgan Stanley. His full background
includes investing in underlying partnerships and portfolio companies, managing portfolios and investment
professionals, and helping to build a highly regarded business at Morgan Stanley, where he was a managing
director of the firm's Alternative Investment Partners team and served on the division's Business and
Investment Committees. He began working with LBO sponsors in 1995, leading equity, fixed income and
acquisition finance transactions. He was recruited from within the firm to build Morgan Stanley's private
equity fund of funds business shortly after its inception in 2000. While a member of Alternative Investment
Partners, he led private equity partnership and co-investment programs, as he executed his portfolio management
responsibilities. Earlier in his career, he worked with Scully Brothers & Foss, as well as Kidder Peabody & Co.
A cum laude graduate of Princeton University with a degree in Economics, he received his Master of Business
Administration from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School with a dual degree in Finance and Operations
Management. He joined Wilshire in 2010.

Ilona Brom
Managing Director

Ms. Brom is responsible for origination, due diligence, and monitoring of buyout and venture capital investments in
Europe. She has 11 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Wilshire Private Markets, she worked in corporate
bond research, most recently as Vice President with Morgan Stanley in London. Ms. Brom was also previously with ABN AMRO
Bank in Amsterdam. Ms. Brom serves a number of buyout partnership advisory boards in Europe. Ms. Brom received a MSc
degree in Economics/Business Administration from the University of Amsterdam. She joined Wilshire in 2003.

David Chiang
Managing Director
Mr. Chiang is responsible for origination, due diligence, and monitoring of U.S. partnership and transaction
opportunities and the management of the secondary sourcing process. He has more than 12 years of private equity and
transaction experience. Prior to joining Wilshire Private Markets, he worked as a Principal for ACON Investments, a
U.S. middle-market buyout firm. Mr. Chiang also previously worked for the Government of Singapore ("GIC") Special
Investments, the private equity arm of a global investment management company, where he served as a member of the U.S.
Investment Committee and focused on U.S. buyouts and global distressed investments. Mr. Chiang also worked for Donaldson,
Lufkin & Jenrette's Investment Banking Group, focused on financial sponsor coverage and transactions. Mr. Chiang
received dual BA degrees from Brown University in Business Economics and Psychology and his MBA from the Anderson School
of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Chiang is a member of the Turnaround Management
Association. Mr. Chiang joined Wilshire in 2008.

William van Eesteren

Mr. van Eesteren is responsible for origination, due diligence, and monitoring of buyout and venture capital
investments in Europe. He has 12 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Wilshire Private Markets, he worked in
investment banking, most recently as Vice President with ING Barings. Mr. van Eesteren was also previously with
NationsBank and Bank of America in London. Mr. van Eesteren serves on several buyout and venture capital partnership
advisory boards in Europe. Mr. van Eesteren received a MSc degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University
in Rotterdam. He joined Wilshire in 2001.

Marc Friedberg, CFA
Managing Director
Marc is a Managing Director and Principal in Wilshire Private Markets. Prior to joining Wilshire Private Markets in 2010, Marc was a Managing Director in Wilshire Consulting which he joined in 1999. He has consulting experience with many types and sizes of investment funds, including corporate and public pension funds, endowments and foundations. Marc has extensive experience structuring institutional portfolios across all asset classes for a broad range of client types and portfolio objectives. Marc is actively involved in decisions and research regarding asset allocation, investment structure, manager selection, manager monitoring, savings plan design, risk management, and other topical areas relating to his role in investment consulting. In addition to his responsibilities as a general consultant, he leads the consulting division's efforts relating to private equity and sits on the hedge fund committee. These efforts include portfolio structuring and due diligence. Prior to working at Wilshire Associates, Marc worked for Oppenheimer Capital in their San Francisco office.
Marc received a B.A. degree as a dual business / communications major and an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance and economics from the University of Pittsburgh. He also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Grant Harrison

in the Asia-Pacific region. He has more than 15 years of investment experience. Prior to joining Wilshire Private
Markets, he held the position of Investment Manager with Funds SA, responsible for the development and implementation of
investment strategies in the private equity and property asset classes. Mr. Harrison serves on the trustee/advisory
boards of several partnerships in Australia. Mr. Harrison received his Bachelor of Business with Distinction from the
University of South Australia and holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Financial
Services Institute of Australasia. Mr. Harrison joined Wilshire in 2004.

Alexander Brummeler, CFA

Mr. Brummeler sources and conducts due diligence on private equity fund investments in Europe. He has more than four
years investment experience. Prior to joining Wilshire Private Markets, he worked in investment banking, most recently
for a boutique advisory firm based in Asia. Since the start of his career, he has originated, executed, and negotiated
corporate finance and private equity transactions across a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, technology,
basic materials, and consumer durables. He received a MEng degree in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London and
is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. Mr. Brummeler joined Wilshire in 2004.

Steve Choi
Vice President
Mr. Choi is responsible for private equity taxation issues, financial reporting and operational matters. He has more
than eight years of experience providing tax consulting and compliance services to private equity funds, hedge funds and
1940 Act Funds. Prior to joining WPM, he was with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Deloitte LLP. Mr. Choi obtained his
Master of Business Taxation from the University of Southern California and his B.A. in Economics from the University of California Los
Angeles. Mr. Choi joined Wilshire in 2009.

Young Kim
Vice President and Counsel
Mr. Kim is responsible for all legal matters regarding Wilshire Private Markets.
Prior to joining Wilshire, he was Counsel at Bingham McCutchen providing legal services
to private equity funds, institutional investors and Fortune 500 companies, among others.
Mr. Kim received a BA in Economics and Philosophy from the University of California,
Berkeley and a JD from Boston College Law School. Mr. Kim joined Wilshire in 2010.

Jaime Londoņo, CFA
Vice President
Mr. Londoņo conducts due diligence on U.S. venture capital and buyout investments. He has seven years of investment
experience. Prior to joining Wilshire Private Markets he worked in Wilshire Analytics where he conducted research on
risk models. Mr. Londoņo received his B.S. in civil engineering from the School of Engineering of Antioquia, Colombia,
and his M.S. in Financial Engineering from the Drucker School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. He is a
Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. Mr. Londoņo joined Wilshire in 2002.

Paul Rodgers, CFA, CAIA
Vice President
Paul joined Wilshire in 2007 to work with the firm's investment consulting clients. Prior to joining Wilshire, Paul was a Portfolio Manager at the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System ("Ohio PERS"), where he managed the plan's private equity group and its $2.5 billion portfolio. At Ohio PERS, his main responsibilities included identifying, selecting and monitoring private equity partnerships. Paul was a member of a number of leading buyout and venture capital advisory boards. Prior to Ohio PERS, Paul was a Portfolio Manager for the Mellon Financial private equity group, where he invested in private equity partnerships on behalf of Mellon's clients. He earned a B.S. in Finance from Duquesne University and an M.B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh. Paul holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation. Collectively, Paul has nine years of experience in direct investing, placing and monitoring fund investments and advisory board experience.
